New component to present a “Content images gallery”
We have introduced a new GXportlet that enables the presentation of an image gallery for contents. We will now see a way to achieve this.
Contents may be related to a set of multimedia images. The
“Content images gallery”
GXportlet now available and may be added on any page as well as on an "content details" page. For the gallery presentation to start, a text or an image is defined on which a click action will show the first content image, with the possibility of presenting the following image. From there, it is possible to move back and forward between the previous and the next image. Following is an example of how the gallery is shown:
If the content is already instanced (an example is the case where a content was clicked on and its content details page is displayed, and another example is when the dynamic expansion is being used: the content is expanded on the page itself) and a content was selected, then the presentation will be the image gallery of the content selected.
Otherwise, a property is available in the
“Content images gallery”
GXportlet for defining the content from which the images are to be presented.
We hope this new functionality will be of interest to you all.
