Gadgets are small applications that run on their own. There are many types of gadgets, such as currency converters, warnings, search engines, translation tools, games, notes, and so on.
To integrate a Google Gadgets, follow these two steps:
1. Add the “Google Gadgets” GXportlet to a GXportal page
2. Enter the URL of the Gadgets that you want to publish. For example if you want to use
this gadget you must select just the URL, like this:

Copy the URL of any of the previous links (to do so, right-click on the link, choose the Properties option and copy the URL value) and paste it on the corresponding property of the GXportlet.
The URL makes reference to an .xml file and certain parameters are configured, for example, width, height, border, colors, title, language, etc.
